You Can't Teach God Anything

Favorite Albums of 2011: I totally forgot Adele 21. I think I forgot because it was such a major album that by the end of the year I stopped listening to it. It was everywhere! Deservedly so. Both of Adele’s albums are flawless. It’s sickening.

It seems like a really random bunch, but these are the albums I listened to most in 2011.

Foster The People, Torches is my number one. If I couldn’t find anything on the radio I liked, or if shuffle on my iPhone was not cutting it, I would just listen to Torches. It’s just my kind of music: Alternative Pop. Grouplove Never Trust A Happy Song is a close second, only because Torches came out first and I’ve been listening to Torches longer.

We are not special. We are not crap or trash either. We just are. We just are, and what happens just happens. This is the place where I share my ideas, opinions, and interesting things I find on the internet. I'm not a genius, though I paid for four years of college, so I get to think I'm smarter than some people. My sense of humor is dark and eccentric and it might go way over everybody's head. I like to make myself laugh first. If anyone else laughs, well then that's just dandy. I'm also a nerd in the sense that I have the tendency to get really excited and passionate about stupid stuff like the following: Glee, iPhones, Martha Stewart, Doctor Who, 30 Rock, Macs, Fiona Apple. Don not be confused. I am not a hipster. There is nothing ironic about my obsessions, my clothes, or my kick-ass Ray Ban wayfarer glasses. I truly love them. The only thing I'm "over" is the moon. I am an atheist, and that's all you need to know about that. PS: I think I make really good playlists. You can spend the rest of your days trying to suck your earlobes if you don't agree.
