Favorite Albums of 2011
It seems like a really random bunch, but these are the albums I listened to most in 2011.
Foster The People, Torches is my number one. If I couldn’t find anything on the radio I liked, or if shuffle on my iPhone was not cutting it, I would just listen to Torches. It’s just my kind of music: Alternative Pop. Grouplove Never Trust A Happy Song is a close second, only because Torches came out first and I’ve been listening to Torches longer.
Mini-Mid-December Mix: Treat Yo’self Edition
I can’t sleep. Its 11:15. I have to get up at 6, be at work at 7:30am, and won’t get home from work until 8:30pm tomorrow. I accept that it’s going to be rough, and I put forth a mix that will make it so much better, me thinks.
- The Big Pink - Stay Gold
- The History of Apple Pie - You’re So Cool
- This Many Boyfriends - Young Lovers Go Pop!
- The Vaccines - Tiger Blood /or/ A Lack of Understanding
- Of Monsters And Men - Little Talks
- Grouplove - Naked Kids /or/ Itchin’ On A Photograph
- Young The Giant - I Got /or/ Apartment
- Cults- Bumper
- The Decemberists - Don’t Cary It All /or/ Down By The Water
- City & Colour - Little Hell
Normally I post links to the songs on YouTube… my bad.
