You Can't Teach God Anything

So I realized mid-way through making this scarf that when I wear it some people might expect me to sing acapella versions of top 40 hits a la The Warblers. I don’t do hair gel and I only sing Katy Perry shamefully in the private comfort of my car.

I taught myself how to knit over the weekend. Blowing your mind right now, aren’t I?

Seriously though, I’m hardcore itching from the yarn, and from the felt I was working with for something else.

We are not special. We are not crap or trash either. We just are. We just are, and what happens just happens. This is the place where I share my ideas, opinions, and interesting things I find on the internet. I'm not a genius, though I paid for four years of college, so I get to think I'm smarter than some people. My sense of humor is dark and eccentric and it might go way over everybody's head. I like to make myself laugh first. If anyone else laughs, well then that's just dandy. I'm also a nerd in the sense that I have the tendency to get really excited and passionate about stupid stuff like the following: Glee, iPhones, Martha Stewart, Doctor Who, 30 Rock, Macs, Fiona Apple. Don not be confused. I am not a hipster. There is nothing ironic about my obsessions, my clothes, or my kick-ass Ray Ban wayfarer glasses. I truly love them. The only thing I'm "over" is the moon. I am an atheist, and that's all you need to know about that. PS: I think I make really good playlists. You can spend the rest of your days trying to suck your earlobes if you don't agree.
