Allison Williams: The flawless and only reason that I watch Girls. She’s just…so pretty. If I wasn’t put off by vagina, I guess I would like to do heterosexual things to it. I can’t get specific. I’ve never seen one up close.
I’m not sure if Saturday Night Live was really good this week, or if the rest of the season sucked and this weeks episode was far better by comparison, but on it’s own merely adequate.
Regardless The Californians sketch had me dying. If laughs were pizza, SNL was delivering like Dominoes.
I am so not looking forward to the upcoming season of True Blood. For one reason, the quality of the show has been declining since season one, and I blame it on the increasing number of characters and storylines. It’s overwhelming. For another reason, if series creator Allan Ball decides to use any of the plot from book five of the Sookie Stackhouse Mysteries, I will be so bored. Book five, Dead as a Doornail is probably my least favorite book in the series. There are storylines about a sniper, a vampire pirate, and werewolf pack leaders. It just wasn’t as good as the other books. TRUST.
TV Promo: HBO’s The Newsroom
From Aaron Sorkin, starring Jeff Daniels. Emily Mortimer, Alison Pill, Dev Patel, John Gallagher, Jr., Olivia Munn, Thomas Sadoski , Sam Waterston, and Jane Fonda.
Jane “fucking” Fonda is going to be on Aaron Sorkin’s new show for HBO? Sold! Seriously the only flaw I see this show having is Olivia Munn. That’s mean. I’m sorry, but homegirl is bad luck. Personally I really liked her on that short-lived NBC sitcom Perfect Couples. However like I said: short-lived. Anyway, I have high hopes for this show. Specifically because it’s premiering in June; the same time True Blood is premiering. I have a feeling TB is going to continually decline, so I need HBO to deliver in a way that will make my Summer entertaining.

True Story: I started watching TV Land’s original series, Hot In Cleveland. It’s pretty funny. I enjoyed. It was a good show to fall asleep to. However, I got almost halfway through season two and realized that Netflix Watch Instantly only had 10 episodes of season 2. Yeah! And it says that the rest are “disc only.” Is this 2005? Its just not efficient. Then I planned to download the episodes on iTunes, but I changed my mind. If I pay extra for this enjoyable yet mediocre show, then the terrorists win, and I will have none of that, my friends.
Five Seconds Later…
UPDATE: Fantastic news, ladies and germs! Hulu+, of which I subscribe to has the episodes I wanted to watch. IF ONLY THEY WERE AD FREE! Well, as my good friend Shelly Winters used to tell me, you can’t have it all. And she was in The Poseidon Adventure, so you know she preaches the truth.
After that shitty season finale I was not excited for the Glee season 3 premier… until now.
Bitches are doing a mash up of Anything Goes (from Anything Goes, duh!) and Anything You Can Do (from Annie Get Your Gun, dyyyyying!).
They are also doing You Can’t Stop the Beat from Hairspray. The heavy hand on Broadway songs is making me happy.
I’ve had To Sir With Love stuck in my head all day long. It wouldn’t be so bad, but now the song is associated with the whole Glee cast doing the ugly cry and it makes me sad sad sad.
They should just turn The Hallmark Channel in to the Martha Stewart Channel. I’d love it.
“The Martha Stewart Show” is moving! Starting September 13, the show will air only on Hallmark Channel. The all-new episodes will be presented weekdays at 10 a.m. ET/PT, with encore airings at 4 p.m. and 5 p.m. ET/PT.
For Martha fans who are unable to get cable or satellite, you will still be able to watch an extensive number of video clips of all the recipes, crafts, and more on MarthaStewart.com.

Last year when Glee was just beginning to be promoted I was automatically down. There were any reasons for instant devotion. First of all I love Broadway stars including Lea Michele and Matthew Morrison. I think Broadway actors are the hardest working people in the entertainment industry, and I think they are the most talented. Second I love Jane Lynch. Yes, way before most of you knew her as Sue Sylvester she was one of my favorite people in the world. Jane Lynch has been in everything ever made. Her IMDB page is mind blowing! Third, I love pop music and I love TV. Anything that successfully combines those two medium while having a sense of humor is A+ material to me.
Another reason I knew I was going to like Glee was that I knew Ryan Murphy was the brain behind it. Most people know Ryan Murphy from Nip/Tuck, but I specifically knew him from Popular. Not a lot of people know what Popular is, and that might explain why it only lasted two season. Regardless of the fact that Popular wasn’t popular, it was an insanely hilarious camp driven masterpiece that was way ahead of its time. Ryan Murphy co-created Popular is 2000, wrote many of the show’s episodes, and was a huge influence on the show’s campy and quirky humor. The plot of the show focused two girls who are polar opposites in the high school social scene. Sam is a unpopular brunette writer. Brooke is a popular blond cheerleader. The girls and their rival social cliques are forced to socialize when Sam and Brooke’s parents meet and fall in love.
At first glance Popular and Glee seem to only share the high school culture factor, but if you take a closer look, you’ll realize that Ryan Murphy is reliving his Popular days with Glee.
